Cengar® JSZ Air Saw

The Cengar® JSZ is an air saw designed for heavy-duty industrial cutting. It is used in the oil and petrochemical sectors as well as pipe fabrication, where it delivers reliable performance for cutting steel sections and pipe up to 300 mm (12″) in diameter.

This air saw is supplied with a pipe and profile clamp and a blade guide, ensuring straight, consistent cuts. When used in a mounted position, there is no hand-arm vibration problem.

Blades and Cutting Applications

The JSZ air saw uses Cengar Grey Blades, available in lengths of 300 mm or 450 mm, with 6, 8, 10/14, or 14 TPI configurations.

It is capable of cutting:
Pipe up to 300 mm (12″) in diameter
Steel sections in fabrication and maintenance tasks

Industries That Use the Cengar® JSZ

The JSZ air saw is used in:
Oil and petrochemical facilities
Pipe fabrication workshops and sites

ATEX Compliance and Cold Cutting Safety

The JSZ air saw is ATEX approved to CE EX II 2G Ex h IIC T3 Gb, making it suitable for use in safety-regulated environments.

It also supports cold cutting, allowing operation without a hot work permit, which is essential in environments with strict safety protocols.

Why Choose the Cengar® JSZ?

The JSZ air saw is designed for cutting large diameter pipe and steel sections in high-demand industrial settings. It uses long Cengar Grey Blades and works in a clamp-mounted position to deliver stable, low-vibration cutting. Its ATEX approval and cold cutting capability make it ideal for work in regulated environments, especially within the oil, gas, and fabrication sectors.
