DJ Utilities a long standing contractor for Southern Gas Network
contacted Cengar as they wanted to find a saw which would be
suitable to use for cutting pipes as part of their gas mains
replacement operations.
Due to working in a hazardous environment the requirement to use
an Atex approved saw was important to the Director Dave Parsons to
protect his employees. As all Cengar Saws are Atex certified for use
in hazardous environments they are ideal for this type of work.
The PL905 saw was recommended for this application as it can cut
pipes up to 150mm and is now used as standard across DJ Utilities’s
fleet.
